Social Events
Queen Elizabeth Park does not currently have a social committee, due to a scarcity of volunteers. Occasional events are organised by individuals or groups who offer to do so. If you are interested in organising something, we suggest joining our Facebook group and requesting a post in it. You can also email [email protected] and your message will be passed on to the appropriate place or person.
Local Walking Groups
A local walking group, Muddy Boots, meets on Mondays starting at the QEP centre at 10am and return by 11.30am. Visits to nearby locations are organised on the last Monday of each month. For more information please contact John and Jeannette Cattermole on [email protected] .

Emmanuel Church

The Emmanuel Church have three services on a Sunday 8am ,10.30 am and 6.30 pm. As well as a place for worship the church offers many activities including table tennis sessions Tuesday and Thursday.
The café is open for coffees and bites Monday to Thursday 9.15 to 14.15 pm.
A pensioner’s lunch is held on the second Monday in the month 12.30 to 2.30 pm £4.50 for a two-course meal.
A weekly friendship club for retired folk is held Wednesdays 11am to 12.30pm.
A parent and toddlers Group Teddies runs twice a week during term time.
Kids Alive 325 meet every Tuesday during term time.

QEP Centre Home of New Life Baptist Church

The centre offers excellent facilities including children’s classes, birthday parties and also adult classes (Pilates, yoga, dance and craft nights).

A modern gym with recently upgraded with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, with dedicated training areas, variety of classes and versatile equipment for all fitness levels. Swimming pool and spa facilities and team of physiotherapists.
The gym has also established a monthly book club and hold a regular curry and quiz night.
