From the QEP Gardening Committee:
TREATMENT OF THE Q E PARK LAWNS
Every year, the lawns on the estate are treated to reduce weeds and to feed the grass. In the past couple of years these treatments have not been very successful, partly due to adverse weather conditions.
A new contractor has been appointed to carry out the treatment this year. Their operatives will be doing the work in the next week or so. They are required by law to use protective clothing and equipment.
Please be assured that NONE of the treatments involve anything which harms humans, animals or beneficial insects.
When an area is being treated, signs will be put up asking people to avoid the area for a short time. Once the spray treatment is dry, the signs will be removed and the lawn area can be used as normal. Please do your best to co-operate when the treatment is being done.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Hazelvine on [email protected] or email: [email protected]
Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
