Stagecoach operates a service from Stoughton to Guildford daily and weekends. Bus stops are located on Grange Road. Buses run approx. every 20 minutes. The no.2 bus is basically a circular route, running south on Grange and Manor Roads into Guildford town centre, then returning northwards from the bus station via Woodbridge Road, Worplesdon Road, Cumberland Avenue and Grange Road. There is no longer a direct bus route to the Royal Surrey Hospital, Science Park or the main Tesco store.

Bus services appear to be subject to constant change and the best way of finding out about them is via the Stagecoach app, which can be downloaded from whichever ‘app store’ applies to your phone.

The Emmanuel Church have three services on a Sunday 8am ,10.30 am and 6.30 pm. As well as a place for worship the church offers many activities including table tennis sessions Tuesday and Thursday.

The café is open for coffees and bites Monday to Thursday 9.15 to 14.15 pm.

A pensioner’s lunch is held on the second Monday in the month 12.30 to 2.30 pm £4.50 for a two-course meal.

A weekly friendship club for retired folk is held Wednesdays 11am to 12.30pm.

A parent and toddlers Group Teddies runs twice a week during term time.

Kids Alive 325 meet every Tuesday during term time.

Guildford Spectrum is a leisure complex in Guildford, Surrey, England. Owned by Guildford Borough Council, it was opened on 23 February 1993 at a cost of £28 million. It is the home of ice hockey teams the Guildford Flames and the Guildford Phoenix, Aldwych Speed Club and other sports clubs. In addition to its large indoor sports arena it has an Olympic size ice rink, three swimming pools and a high diving pool, a tenpin bowling centre, squash courts and a football/athletics stadium.

The Lido is open for open swimming during the day.

On certain days during the week and at weekends the pool is open for evening lane swimming. The 10-lane 50 metre pool is open to season ticket holders and members of the public throughout the summer season.

Whitmoor Common is a 166-hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the northern outskirts of Guildford in Surrey. It is part of the Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection Area and the 184.9-hectare Whitmoor and Rickford Commons Local Nature Reserve, which is owned by Surrey County Council and managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.

Located just off the A320 between Woking and Guildford in Surrey, Brittens Pond is a 5.5 acre fishery with 30+ swims available, 8 of which have disabled access. Fishing depths of up to 4ft.

The centre offers excellent facilities including children’s classes, birthday parties and also adult classes (Pilates, yoga, dance and craft nights).
